Reloading units made manual handling a non-issue. HITP increased ignition temp. to 100ºC above nitrocellulose propellant, wich would be 270-330ºC. Class II and III stoppages aren't exclusive to G11

The weapon was marketed to the Bundeswehr as the frontline weapon of choice, with G41 as the secondary line. The weapon finished in the 1990s, just in time for Berlin wall's collapse and reunification of Germany, with the defence budget cut and the numerous technical/logistical issues the caseless ammunition had, Bundeswehr chosed G36 as the main battle rifle in the end.

Only 265 units were ever produced, some of which made their way into the hands of the Bundeswehr. Ultimately, the German armed forces replaced the G3 with the G36.

** Caseless ammunition had to be handled with extreme care, slight crack in the ammo's body would result in weapon faulty during firing.
** Caseless ammunition G11 used was extremely heat sensitive as it ignites at 170°C, during continuous firing the rifle would suffer possibility of pre-mature ammo detonation.
** Most of the residue caused faulty fires can not be easily cleaned on the field under battle conditions, some of which can not be cleaned at all.

Ohh... Self introduction? What a hassle... I'm G11, one of those caseless ammo rifles. A technology many country failed to achieve, in the end a three way conglomerate managed it and used in my development. Many years were spent on the work, but due to a set of events I wasn't even needed to be in service in the end. How are the humans not tired from all that...
