Trivia[edit]
- The .357 Wadcutter shown is actually a Semi-Wadcutter round. A true Wadcutter (WC) bullet is cut flat and lies flush with the cartridge case, and is made this way for greater precision, especially in target shooting as it creates flat holes. A Semi-Wadcutter (SWC) bullet on the other hand has a conical tip that ends in a flat point and sticks out of the case; this combines the precision of the Wadcutter with greater mass of the cone for hunting purposes.
