Compared to Dolls in more traditional industries, those involved in journalism are required to be a bit more creative. They cannot solely rely on their inherent, imbued professional knowledge to find success.

Choco and Willow had conspired together to set up the Oasis’ very first Valentine’s Day in order to promote Choco’s chocolaterie. Willow had published an article in the Magrasea Weekly explaining the human custom of chocolate giving on Valentine’s Day. However, the other Dolls of the Oasis had misunderstood Willow’s article and instead caused trouble for the Professor by sucking up to them in hopes of getting chocolate. The Professor eventually discovered Choco and Willow’s plan. Willow was asked to publish another article clarifying the intent of the holiday. She initially was upset that she would have to write an apology in the paper, but then became excited when she realized she would have exclusive access in reporting the Professor’s alternative plan of giving chocolate to everyone in the Oasis.

'''This is Willow, Live From The Scene!'''

Early in her career, not long after being awakened, Willow was nicknamed "Officer Willow" by her colleagues. No matter what the topic of discussion was, if someone made a definite, strong opinion they would end up in her crosshairs. Willow would inquire about the facts behind their views and the basis of their conclusion - although most of the time it was just idle chatter that ended up being heavily scrutinized.
Dear Professor,

Breaking news! On the 1.5th anniversary of the Oasis' founding, a creepy, mysterious building manifested out of thin air in the heart of the Oasis, unusual incidents cropping up ever since and mysterious strangers spotted all over the Oasis, all these strange happenings must surely be caused by some kind of hidden secret, which your ace reporter Willow will uncover for you.

"Haha, the Officer, of course everyone knows her. She can be a bit of a handful, but she's endearing in her own way. Honestly, I wish everyone in media could be as pragmatic as she is, but...not to say there's no one, but I haven't seen any in the last few years"
How's that, Professor? That's my pitch for the Oasis' 1.5th anniversary~ I've got the opening done, so don't you keep me from interviewing the other members of the Future Gadgets Lab! Here I was agonizing over what to write for my column when a new headline suddenly dropped into my lap. My journalist's soul can't keep itself from wanting to learn all about them, whether it's their identities, the "Akihabara culture" they keep talking about, or the Future Gadgets they've brought with them!

"Hey! Chen, what is going on with this report? They've already issued a clarification statement, why are you still reporting old information? Can't you take a page from Willow? Her reports are always submitted on time and are carefully reviewed. Look, you can't just coast along day in, day out...eh Hey, hey, cut this part out, ok?"
Still, since we've got visitors from afar, the Oasis is naturally ready to receive them. It's been just a year and a half, but we've already built a life-sustaining oasis in the wastes of Magrasea. I'm sure we wouldn't' have come this far without you, Professor. For that reason, I've got a little gift of my own for you; I hope you like it~

This is Willow, Live From The Scene!

Also, since you've accepted my gift, that means you've also accepted an exclusive one-on-one interview with me, right~
