Dialogue Chinese Japanese Korean English
Morning Good morning, Professor. Have you had breakfast yet? I brought an extra portion for you. That said, I favor hot food in the mornings, which might be at odds with... What's that? The Oasis is overflowing with baozi?
Afternoon Have you taken an afternoon nap, Professor? It's been a habit of mine since a long time ago. Regardless of the season, I've always needed to doze off for a bit after lunch. Just 30 minutes is enough for me to regain the energy to work for the rest of the afternoon.
Evening I used to study at a research base in the past, and all too often I'd end up working all the way past sunset. It was only when I looked out the window that I'd realize that the sky was filled with stars. Still... When I think about how our aim is to send our friends up into that starry sky, it doesn't seem like that much of a hardship any more.
Night There's just a bit more observation data left, I'll go to bed once it's done... (Yawn) Man, I'm sleepy. Time for another cup of tea... Professor, you're still up? You should turn in early and let me handle the rest of– Hm? You won't let me pull an all-nighter by myself? Fair enough, let's do our best, then.
Main Interface Voice The job of ground control encompasses a lot of things. We don't need to practice all the time like astronauts; rather, we have to familiarize ourselves with a wide body of knowledge. While Dolls can be programmed with a lot of data from creation, being able to make use of it skillfully is a different matter.
Do you... not like my hat? But it keeps me warm in the winter and gives me shade in the summer, and I don't have to worry about my hairstyle when I wear it. It's really handy...
-
Professor? Are you asleep... You'll catch a cold if you don't cover up. Hope you don't mind if I drape this jacket over you...
A clear mind and quick reflexes are essential in my line of work. I might only be an ordinary bureaucrat, but I won't let danger run amok before my eyes.
Interactive Voice These IEMs are the best I've ever used.
Is- is something the matter?
Um... Please don't tease me.
Relationship Dialogues Professor, the Medical Department asked me to explain my mobility issues to you. Are you free? –Alright. These are the results of my diagnostics. The accident left me with limited mobility in my legs, but I can compensate for it with mechanical assistance. Don't worry, it's not like I can't stand up at all. Plus, this PMD is really handy and it doesn't affect my work. Hm? You want to look at it? But I don't think it's anything special... Still, go ahead.
The accident? ...That's all in the past. In reality, my body was broken for too long, to the point where it ended up affecting my neural cloud's self-image. Even on Magrasea, as a pure neural cloud, it manifests as my legs suffering from an irreparable malfunction. Still, I managed to bring the technology for my PMD to the cloud as well. Its mobility and other assistance functions are all in order and they allow me to function normally in everyday life. I can even interface with the ground control system interfaces and... Ahem. Sorry, I tend to ramble on when it comes to tech-related issues.
Unlike other Dolls who might be more romantic in nature, I tend to have... issues with expressing myself. Sometimes I find myself a little envious and wishing that my feelings were not confined to mere paper and text... Never mind, I'm fine the way I am now. Compared to taikonauts, who are the center of attention, being part of the ground control staff is nowhere nearly as glorious. However, that suits me just fine–all I need to do is give my best effort so my friends in space can walk through the void with no worries. Whether we're the trailblazers or the ones who follow in their wake, when we look up into the sky, we'll find that we all wear the same crown of starlight.
Low Earth Orbit... Space junk... No wait, which one was it? Come in... Professor? Oh, I was just sorting out my documents. Some of this material is too old and needs to be updated. All the research data we've collected on the cloud is just waiting to be sent back to reality. While there's no practical application for it yet, what we've learned on Magrasea is still an invaluable trove of knowledge. ...You're saying I sound happy? Well, as long as you understand the meaning of your efforts, you'll never feel that they were in vain. Isn't that the same conviction you hold when leading everyone?
I have to admit, considering the world we live in nowadays, people like us who persist in working in the field of space exploration... We must sound like lunatics. Perhaps the future we envision seems too far away at the moment, but I've always believed that it will arrive someday. When spaceships travel along their orbits, when the eyes in the sky once more look upon the Earth, the fractured course of space exploration will be healed once again. Everything we've fought for will be validated in the best possible way. All the sleepless nights we've had until then will become trivial matters. Because right now, I am just "me", but behind "me", stand countless others that make up "us"– and because of this belief, my own individual accomplishments no longer seem so important. If our stories are all inscribed in the starry sky, I'm sure mine will be up there, too.

Oath An oath? ...With me? Of course I'm willing, Professor. I'd been hoping for something like this, but I never expected it to actually happen one day. After all, it wasn't a goal that could be reached through logical progression, just a tiny little dream, hidden under the canopy of the heavens. If there's anyone who could root out the living essence of me from behind my wooden facade, it would undoubtedly be you. If I could be the stars... then you would be my moon. And now, your pure radiance has illuminated me. Of all the things that belong to me and me alone, this is by far the best of them.
Obtain Pleasure meeting you, Professor. Welcome to the simulated Mission Control Center. Me? ...I'm just one of many workers here. You can call me Yuwang.

Christmas It's Christmas, Professor. It's been a long time since I last celebrated Christmas and it feels quite novel. Back in reality, the people around me would exchange apples on the night before Christmas, or "Christmas Eve". While I don't know why they did that, I brought a few along anyway... Granted, it feels a bit silly. Merry Christmas, Professor. Here's your gift. I'm sure you'll get many more, so just think of this as being one of the many stars in a constellation and keep it close to you.
Halloween Do I have to dress up for Halloween, too? I thought I could get away with just giving away some candy... No, we don't have any ghost stories about Mission Control. If we did, they'd probably relate to how data simulations didn't end up like what was forecasted... I mean, a space station crashing or a rocket going astray would be much scarier than any ghost. And besides, all I know about horror-related stuff are those classic Chinese hopping vampire movies... Why don't you try sticking a paper talisman on my head?
New Year Happy New Year, Professor. Where I come from, the differences in the calendar mean that we celebrate two different "New Years" each year. The humans would always eat jiaozi for both of them to reward themselves for a year of hard labor. That said, I think it was only certain people from the northern parts of the country who did that. When my mentor at the space research center mentioned this practice, I think the staff from the south voiced their protests about it...
Tanabata The night sky is particularly clear tonight... Professor? Yes, I'm watching the stars, too. Did I disturb you? I'm glad I didn't. I was looking at the Milky Way just now. Where I come from, they call it the "Heavenly River" that separates the Weaver and the Cowherd. However, that is just part of the Milky Way, just like our Solar System, and the Milky Way itself is... ah. Pardon me, am I being a killjoy by talking about all that while stargazing?
Valentine What's happening today? Something's strange about the looks on everybody's faces... Wait, so it's Valentine's Day today? I see. I didn't get it– No, it's nothing. I heard that in some places, it's popular to exchange roses, and in others, they exchange chocolates as gifts. Which do you think is better, Professor? –I see. Ahem, then, er, are you free tomorrow, no, I mean, tonight? Um, it's nothing special.
Player's Birthday Happy birthday, Professor. I've marked this day on my calendar as more important than most other festivals. I'm not good at springing surprises, so I'll just show you everything I've prepared. Besides your birthday present, I also have a cake iced in a floral pattern for you, complete with self-lighting number-shaped candles that automatically play music and shoot fireworks... Is there a problem? Should I have gone for a longevity peach design instead?
