> OTs-14 'Groza' ("Thunderstorm" or "Terror") The meaning ‘Terror’ doesn’t seem applicable as a weapon name, as in that sense the Russian ‘гроза’ always requires a subordinate word. One can say “он был г̲р̲о̲з̲о̲й̲ волков” (=he was t̲h̲e̲ ̲s̲c̲o̲u̲r̲g̲e̲ of the wolves). But if that sentence didn’t have the subordinate part, i.e. “of the wolves”, it would read “he was the thunderstorm/he was like a thunderstorm”, implying that someone was acting vehemently. However, when used alone, the word ‘гроза’ does bear a certain duality to the meaning. The ‘Thunderstorm’ though, it too about weather. On the other hand, ‘Storm’, as defined in Stormonth’s dictionary, seems to be all right:

storm def.
