After World War 3, in order to stabilize and restore regional order, the government urgently needed the police to take over for the military and resume the responsibility of maintaining law and order. Despite this, the violent crime rate remained high. Ultimate Life Holdings recognized this as a business opportunity and so, the Forensic 3.6 Doll came into being.

As part of the first batch of Forensic 3.6 forensic investigator Dolls, Rise acted as an outside consultant to a police station in the Netherlands. After Project Neural Cloud started, she was recommended by her employer and selected as a tester for her impressive talents.

Doll Profile 1

In the early days of the technology's development, no police department would purchase a forensic Doll in an official capacity. Rise's employer is a police officer in the emergency department of the Amsterdam police force. He had felt helpless in the face of the endlessly growing number of unsolved cases, but after she arrived, she helped them greatly increase their work efficiency.

As a forensic Doll, Rise has a higher tolerance for the results of terrible crimes than the vast majority of humans. She can also pick up details that are difficult for humans to detect. Through the use of customized sensors and analysis modules, she can even perform a partial reconstruction of the crime through lingering pheromones. Once the job is over, she takes the responsibility for cleaning the site, ensuring that the poor soul who rents the place next doesn't notice that a crime took place there.

However, Rise will not utter a single word in the process of carrying out her tests, making it difficult to grasp what she is thinking. The way that she silently makes her way around the bloodstained scene is enough to unnerve the rookies.

Doll Profile 2

Rise doesn't have any particular feelings about her status as a contractor. No matter what her title is, the particulars of her work won't change much.

Her attitude to her work is similarly ambiguous. She doesn't particularly like it, but she also doesn't really hate it—she was just loyal to her employer, dutifully completing the tasks given to her and trusting they would have significance.

Sometimes, after a case is solved, Rise will be thanked by the deceased's family. During World War 3, many humans lost their lives, their bodies spread all over the land reduced to an abstract statistic. Now, in a society that is steadily restoring order, they are upholding the final dignity of the dead through their investigations. The gratitude from those families convinced Rise of the value of her work.

"It's not out of preference... just... this is meaningful work, so someone has to do it, right?"

Rise has a secret interest—she's a fan of sci-fi movies, especially the particularly gory ones. Mysterious aliens suddenly appear and attack humanity, bringing ruin and disaster... for her, these kinds of intense scenes actually relax her body and mind.

She isn't sure why she has such a hobby. Is it a preference set for her professional needs? Or is it something that she steadily gained an interest in over the course of her work? She doesn't have an answer to that and has long since put it out of her mind. Perhaps it's because these types of films allow her to enjoy those "special" scenes outside of work, which gives her a liberating feeling.

Rise does not take the initiative to discuss personal matters, including her career and hobbies with others. This isn't because she has something against those topics, but because she doesn't want those around her to feel uneasy. No matter what, those who have recently experienced war yearn for a relatively peaceful life. She doesn't want others to be tainted by the ominous scent of blood due to her.

That said, if you become a close friend of Rise, then she will let her guard down to a degree. Once, Rise chatted with her employer about her sci-fi movie habit and even accidentally leaked her dream: she would like to one day be able to break into the film industry that she loves so much. She wants to work with people who have the same passion as her and produce the ideal sci-fi movie.

"The speaker speaks carelessly, but the listener listens carefully." After that conversation, Rise's employer began to secretly search for her replacement. Rise wouldn't be able to realize her cinema dreams while she was forever trapped in the cold police station. After all, it was due to Rise's efforts that the local crime rate had fallen, so this was a way to give back a little. However, before Rise's long vacation, she still had one final task—participate in Project Neural Cloud and save her precious work data.

As a result, Rise has yet to achieve her freedom, but she doesn't hate life in the Oasis. In her spare time, she has the opportunity to connect with people and things that she wasn't able to in the past. She also has enough time to get to know them in a way she is comfortable with...
