Skill

As one of the MG unit with the "Hunting Impulse" skill, while skill is active Mk48 gains additional accuracy and all of her shots are guaranteed critical hits. Examples of other MGs with similar skills are ^MG LWMMGLWMMG  and ^MG AEK-999AEK-999 , however Mk48's skill is the strongest during day time combat out of all the Hunting Impulse MGs. it is also worth noting that none of the 5* rarity MGs have Hunting Impulse skill, which means Mk48 currently holds the highest magnitude Hunting Impulse skill.

Stats

Comparing attributes with the other MGs, Mk48 is rated above average in terms of damage but below average in terms of accuracy, her maximum ammo chain without ammo box equipment is 10. Mk48 is somewhat lacking in terms of effective hitpoints.

Combat Performance

When her skill is toggled as auto activation, typically only half of Mk48's initial salvo can benefit from her skill, the skill will not active again until she reloads for her third salvo. She can be considered stronger than the Combo buff type MGs such as ^MG MG5MG5  and ^MG PKPK , because of how much her DPS is increased by when the skill is active.

Improved accuracy is a sweet bonus for Mk48, all MG dolls lacks innate accuracy, with her skill active, Mk48 is more likely to hit high evasion units than the other MGs, on top of the guaranteed critical hit damage.

Her grid buff suggests she is better placed on the back line, ideally in position 1, but position 4 and 7 are also viable due to the frontal buff position, she provides rate of fire bonus to frontal SG units.

Mk211 High-Explosive Armor-Piercing Ammo

MG dolls can equip AP ammo, which helps against armored enemy units. Though armored units only appear in night chapters, their first diurnal appearance is somewhere around moderately late stage of the game, players can choose when to upgrade this equipment at their preferred discretion.

All of Mk48's shots are guaranteed critical hits when her skill is active, installation of telescopic scope is not exactly useful on hunting Impulse dolls such as Mk48, the skill's accuracy bonus also dissuade the use red-dot sight. Only holographics sight with additional damage bnonus proves to be the most beneficial for Mk48.

IOP Maximum Ammo Box

The third MG equipment slot unlocks at lv80, incidentally it also provides the highest contribution on a MG's damage output, adding extra chains to the salvo means more of Mk48's hots can benefit from the skill effect, this equipment should receive top upgrading priority.
