PNC Story/Livestreaming Stage 2-5/Script

Hearing the whooshing sound from behind her, Kuro immediately throws herself into a diving roll and nimbly darts into a nearby building.
Boom!
The floor shakes violently.

Kuro: Holy [BLEEP]…

Reverence: Hiding in the KTV District?
Reverence: That's okay, little Kuro, I'll find you…

Reverence taunts Kuro as she paces around outside, dragging her axe behind her.
Kuro does her best to minimize the noise she makes, carefully crawling to the other side of the room.
Burbank's KTVs have been out of business for a long time, so even though Kuro is keeping the noise she makes to a minimum, a few quiet echoes still fill the air in the room.

Kuro: (Come on, come on, don't spot me…)
Kuro: (Cyber Media is a pain and Cyber Media's sector is also a pain!)
Kuro: (Once I get through this, I'll rally my followers and rush the admin…)

Crash–
A window that Kuro is about to sneak past suddenly shutters.

Kuro: Aiieee–

Reverence pokes her head in and looks around, but all she sees is an empty room.

Reverence: Not only did you interfere with my work as a Sanctifier, you even used the sector's systems to make me play along with this foolish charade – you're certainly the first irregular agent to pull a stunt like this.

Kuro curls up under the window, covering her mouth as tightly as she can, not daring make to a sound.

Reverence: Whenever Wisdom gave me trouble, I'd send her to the Baptismal Font for repair to cool her head.
Reverence: As for you, I'll cut you into pieces and put you into my duty logs for future reference…

Reverence reaches the door and pushes it open. She enters the room to look for Kuro's trail.
Just then, Kuro suddenly jumps up and leaps out of the window.

Reverence: You're in here, after all! Hold it right there!

Kuro: As if I'd listen to you!
