Magnhilda Profile Quotes

Career[edit]

The AAT is Svarog Heavy Industries' sparring Doll, designed to military Doll standards. The AAT's body is based on Latina stock and is programmed with officially-released biodata of military and athletic personnel from around the world, which it can consult in real time in order to better assist her training partner. The provided consultation data covers ages from 6 to 50; clients outside this range are not suitable users for the AAT Doll's companion protection protocols.

Magnhilda was once a member of a San Carlos boxing club, but went missing after an armed conflict. Several months later, she attracted notice in a certain boxing tournament, and following a recommendation from her friend Vee, she passed the screening examinations and joined Project Neural Cloud.

Doll Profile 1[edit]

In order to help the AAT better perform its duties as a sparring partner, Svarog HI designed an entire suite of environmental analysis and body simulation systems to allow them to adjust themselves in real-time to match their current environment and user, as well as simulating the various forms of biofeedback encountered during a sparring session, such as excitement, pain, fatigue and so on.

This design gave Magnhilda a brand new way of learning that was different from most other sparring Dolls on the market, and afforded her a more humanlike experience of the sparring process. Magnhilda could analyze every last bit of feedback from her sensor networks and use her existing training to develop her body and break through her limits.

But according to Magnhilda, her passion for training did not stem simply from honing her abilities but more from the joy she felt in her neural cloud during the process. Perhaps she better understood the meaning of the words, "life is movement" better than most humans could.

Doll Profile 2[edit]

Though Magnhilda is passionate about training herself, it does not mean that she believes that might makes right. On the contrary, she has never taken advantage of her physical abilities to make her life easier for herself.

Magnhilda is keenly aware that many humans and Dolls had no choice over the bodies they were born with. She believes that many of them are strong purely due to design decisions by their makers, rather than through tireless training. There are many people in the world who can't become stronger through effort and hard work, and she has seen far too many of them.

Therefore, Magnhilda has never once looked down on the weak. She is willing to help everyone who faces difficulty due to physical defects. Though conditions do not permit it, she has always hoped for the chance to volunteer in a human rights organization.

Doll Profile 3[edit]

In the beginning, Magnhilda was a sparring Doll for a boxing club called the "Funky Hounds". After repeated victories during internal sparring matches, her fame gradually began to spread. To an outsider, it might not be strange for a human to lose to a Doll, but every pro boxer who watched Magnhilda's sparring videos was surprised by her performance. She did not leverage her special advantages as a Doll to fight, but instead employed the speed and technique earned through training to demonstrate the secrets of boxing to humans.

As her training videos became more and more popular, an increasing number of people began to look favorably upon the boxing club. Naturally, Magnhilda's owner was delighted by this. He often said in a half-joking fashion that Magnhilda might end up being the spokesperson for the club.

If the war had not happened, that might have very well come true.

Doll Profile 4[edit]

Due to changes in regional politics, many matches were called off and many clubs and training groups disbanded. Magnhilda too fled the area at her owner's request, going far from home.

Given Magnhilda's fame, she should have had many options once the situation stabilized. However, fate is cruel, and during her exile, she ran into a boxer who was previously fired by her club. That boxer since became a local fixer running an underground boxing ring. While it was not clear if he was trying to use her or simply because he wanted revenger, the man took control of Magnhilda through illegal means and drew her into underground boxing matches where the thrill of flirting with death took center stage.

With no recourse, Magnhilda spent a long, painful time in that place. She no longer fought for her own goals, but for filthy lucre.

Doll Profile 5[edit]

Forbidden war machines, wanted criminals and biological chimeras... Magnhilda fought all manner of monsters while trapped in the underground boxing ring. She had no choice but to fight over and over again to survive. Even so, there were times when she was forced to throw matches and lose at the behest of her employer, even if it meant her body was incapacitated or left unable to move for several weeks.

Magnhilda struggled in this hellish environment for many years, until she gained the chance to take part in a boxing tournament that took humans and Dolls, named "Wishing Fist". This was also the occasion that brought Magnhilda and Vee together.

"Sometimes, I think about what would have happened if you hadn't walked my way. I'd probably still be stuck struggling in that lightless cage... Or perished on my feet in the ring."
"What brought that on? You came as far as you did because of your own efforts. If there's anyone you should be thanking, it's yourself."
"Perhaps I should thank that customer back then? You were so oppressive that it was a little scary..."
"Watch out, or I'll turn up your pain sensitivity!"
