Five-seveN relented, stating that while Jill doesn’t look too reliable, she doesn’t look like a bad person either. Jill silently noted that this was coming from a certain handgun-toting customer. Five-seveN then requested a Moonblast. Jill was mildly surprised that she had not chosen a non-alcoholic drink, with Five-seveN replying that it was okay since she knew Jill now. Jill assumed this meant that Five-seveN didn’t dislike her.
Five-seveN tasted the drink, commenting that it didn’t quite feel like alcohol she has had before. Jill inquired further. Five-seveN had tried dry red wines as FAL enjoyed pretending to be high-class. Jill stated that she is probably just not used to the taste; if all people wanted was alcohol, they would just stay at home and drink out of cans. Five-seveN asked Jill if she enjoyed drinking, with Jill responding that she falls in the later group of going home to drink canned beer. Five-seveN notes the oddity of her being a bartender mixing drinks at work yet going home to drink cans. Jill made the analogy of being like an Italian chef still wanting to go to a Mexican restaurant to eat a taco, her bartending was just a job. Five-seveN noted that quite a few of her colleagues think that way too. Jill was doubtful that this applied to Five-seveN as she didn’t seem like that sort of Doll.
Five-seveN replied that she just wanted to do sufficiently well within her field and not have anyone else interfere. Jill asked if Five-seveN has a will of her own. Five-seveN was uncertain, answering with the question that since she was manufactured, then shouldn’t she live up to her maker’s expectations? Jill said that society progresses because there’s always someone who refuses to follow the rules. Five-seveN laughed, wondering if Jill was implying that the next step for them should be world domination.
HK416 then started groaning, startling Five-seveN. Five-seveN asked Jill to prepare a drink to wake HK416 up as they went to the restroom to have HK416 change into a spare set of clothes. Shortly afterwards, HK416 asked Jill to explain what happened to her. Jill informed her that she got drunk and then started shouting about wanting G28 to forget about her. HK416 was not amused, as Five-seveN assured HK416 that she would keep this a secret and that it was great for blackmailing her. As the two T-Dolls prepared to leave the bar, Five-seveN informed Jill that she would be back to hear more about HK416’s drunken antics. She then asked Jill if they can hold their farewell party at the bar after discussing the matter with the Commander.
