Minigames

Minigames are non-competitive, unique levels featured in events, that use a fundamentally different gameplay than the rest of the event's missions. They are separate from “events mechanics” which superficially alter normal gameplay during the event.
Luffberry Chess is not considered a minigame as it is a separate and permanent game modewith its own sets of rewards and seasonal ranking.

Entropic Dichotomy
This event's minigame was “Entropic Survivor”, a Vampire Survivor clone. Taking control of Eos, Erika, Clukay, Chanzhi or Antonina, the player must clear 19 screens by moving the character on the battlefield with the on-screen joystick to avoid enemies spawning in and survive for a certain amount of time (or by beating the Ptolemaea boss in the last screen). A critical difference with traditional Survivor-likes is that the playing field is limited and contains no obstacles. The character will attack automatically and its Ultimate skill can be activated like in normal combat. Fallen enemies drop extra HP and Cache Coins, which are spent in the shop after clearing a screen. New functions and protocols are also earned after clearing a screen. Increasing the difficulty by selecting Protocol Levels at the start of the game will increase the final score. This minigame has a story-relevant introduction scene.

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery
Players can access the Tactical Chess minigame in 2092R mode, which is a digital recreation played against an AI of the board game sold with preorders of the original version of Codename: Bakery Girl. Winning a game grants the One Step Ahead achievement on Steam.

The game is played with two players on a 5×7 square board, with the center tile at each end marked as each player's base. Players have access to units ranked 1 to 4 stars, and start with one 1-star and one 2-stars units on the board. Each player can move one unit per turn. 11 resources are on the board at the start, and can be collected by 1-star units only. Players can expend 1 resource to summon a 1-star, 2-stars or 4-stars unit on its base, or 2 pieces to summon a 3-stars unit. Reinforcements can only be summoned when the base tile is free, and don't end the player's turn. Each player can only have one of their 3-stars unit on the board at a time. Stars determine the attack power of a unit: if a unit attacks or is attacked by a higher-ranked enemy unit, it is destroyed. If a unit attacks another unit of the same rank, it destroys it. 4-stars units are special cases as they are also destroyed after attacking.

The game ends when one player brings a unit on the other player's base, or destroys all of the other player's units.

In the original board game, 1-stars units were represented by Scouts, 2-stars by Commandos, 4-stars by the “Big Bomb” item, and 3-stars by Jefuty for the blue player and by Noel for the red player. In Reverse Collapse, the blue 1-star is replaced by a MID Agent, the blue 2-stars by a TASA Member, the red 2-stars by a Werewolf Commando (Skull) and 4-stars by RC Bombs. The “resources” are in fact pieces of bread.
