The Heckler & Koch MG5 (previously known as the HK121) is a fully automatic belt-fed general purpose machine gun manufactured by Heckler & Koch. MG5 is gas-operated featuring rotating bolt action, able to deliver 7.62x51mm NATO cartridge up to a rate of 800 rounds per minute with the fire rate selective lever. MG5 also features several Picatinny rails for the installation of combat accessories, which made the weapon design appear more modular, also to be noted that MG5 is compatible with bipods previously designed for MG3. MG5 can provide effective fire support up to a range of 600 metres when mounted on bipods, up to a maximum firing range of 1200-1500 metres when mounted.
The weapon is intended as a replacement for the well proven Rheinmetall MG3. Fifteen pre-production units were order by the Bundeswehr, designated as the MG5, with 1215 units ordered initially. A total procurement of 12733 units with a total production cost of about €200 million have been delayed due to accuracy concerns.
Demonstrated as HK121, officially entered service after four years, then also given a new name. Sir, this is the story of me, MG5. As the new standardized model for all general purpose machineguns, a lot of efforts were put into both the development and production. But just speaking like this seems a little informal, please witness my prowess in actual combat.
Is this your decisions Sir? No, I have no objections, should I say... This is what I hoped for. All of my chances were given to me by you Commander, I am lucky to receive this honourable title.
Cool-headed and serious personality caused her to struggle to get on with other T-dolls in a friendly manner, she is stuck in the awkward position of wanting friendship and does not wish to cause harm to her allies, thus she only proves her true nature through her reliable combat performance.
