It uses standard NATO STANAG magazinemagazines. Design features includes a semi-automatic firing mode other than full auto, left side charging handle, various Picatinny rails on the weapon body to mount combat and aftermarket accessories, . After each shot empty shells casings are ejected on the right side and flies forward upon ejection, which makes the weapon ambidextrous.
Other accessories include a specially made 1.6x magnification telescopic sight, but it can be removed to reveal the picatinny rail on top of the gun if user wishes to mount other optics or just to use the iron sight. A specially made proprietary grenade launcher GL1 to fit the weapon system since the F2000 isn't compatible with the other NATO 40mm grenade launchers. Barrel of F2000 have a built in flash-suppressor with a special angle cut, designed to direct the muzzle blast upwards to combat the weapon vertical recoil, the same muzzle can also mount a bayonet if the user was issued with one.<ref name="wikipedia"></ref>.
