In reference to her origins in the story, "OGAS" is inscribed in the ribbon dangling from her bandolier. The OGAS logo is also visible on her left stocking and the armband on her right arm.

Official Character Description

Once an personality emulation born from Leva’s neural core, she has been reborn in a body with a familiar appearance. Cheerful, optimistic, warm like the sun… Her personality is the same as it was and makes her more than a mere replica. Though her past is incomplete, she’s pouring all her energy into building a future.

She’s currently serving as an assistant for Persica, and revels in experiments creating new possibilities. Living inside a neural space for a long time gave Lainie a unique viewpoint on the real world, as well as a peculiar definition of “self”, which makes her cherish her friends even more. Even if they’ve been separated for many years, she dedicates her life to protect her companions from afar. No matter the distance, the light of the sun is warm.

Name

Like Leva, her name was chosen by Lenna to sound similar to "Leva" and "Lenna" and have an important meaning: "torch", like a guiding light in the darnkess.

This is probably a deformation of the Ancient Greek ἑλένη (transcribed helene, pronounced [eleni]), with the first syllable truncated for better distinction with the characters Helena and Helen. Her name is written Lene in game files.
