Type 64 submachine gun is one of the first domestically designed Chinese submachine guns. It was designed as a special purpose weapon for clandestine operations, and therefore have a integral suppressor.The weapon is a magazine-fed selective-fire submachine gun using an closed-bolt, blowback action, chambered for 7.62×25mm Type 51 (A Chinese manufactured version of the 7.62×25mm Tokarev round).The Type 64 was designed from the beginning to be a suppressed weapon, unlike many other suppressed firearms that are simply modified versions of standard production guns. An amalgam of many designs, the gun features the bolt of a PPS submachine gun and the trigger group of a ZB vz. 26, both of which are grafted onto the receiver of an AKS-47.[1]
Many elements of PLA and Design are shown on Type 64: Army green shirt, camouflage skirt, red star on headphone, shoulder bag, military canteen, red sleeve badge, “Type 64” printed on her stockings, and magazine on her pony tail.
According to the illustrator 小迪his own words, since Type 64 is a submachine gun with integral, the ideas of “Quiet” are shown on several elements: the “Shhhh” gesture on her normal illust, the giraffe toy on her canteen (And as for the choice of giraffe, 小迪 said that he looked up in the internet to find out the most quiet animal, and giraffe popped up. ).

Story Involvement
According to the story of Chapter 5 Midnight, Type 64 seems good at cooking, however due to the difference of common taste between people from North China and South, which is North salty VS South sweet, she cook some food with salty taste, such as sausages and tofu soup, while HAWK (Type 97 Shot), Type 56-1 and NZ75 like sweet tastes. And she’s kind of fragile: if she opens up more than three cans of coke, her fingers would bleed.
