QBZ-191/Story

Introduction
An Elite Doll originally known as "No. 9".[1] She used to live a knight-errand lifestyle, carefree and unrestrained, but became a strict and professional team leader after joining Griffin & Kryuger as the PMC fell on difficult times,[2] even developing a form of OCD with schedules down to the second.[3]
She used to have two removable signal tracers on her head which looked like mechanical rabbit ears.[4][2] They indicated her mood like real ears[5] and she wore them for practicality, while finding them embarrassing. When she changed her lifestyle and had to use a more professional appearance at the restructured G&K, she took the opportunity to retire them, but kept them as a memento.[6]
She's a tea enthusiast[7][8] and her character is heavily themed after Chinese culture in Girls' Frontline 2.[9][10][11]
QBZ-191 is featured in Fixed Point.
No. 9 was a mercenary Doll with an excellent track record, leading to Statesec hiring her to join Squad Nitrogen for the Battle of the Dead Sea.[1] She saw many battlefield during her operational life, but this was her first time entering a Black Zone.[7] Her wealth of experience gave an edge to her team comprised of high-spec but newer Dolls, helping them survive their battle with Grig.[12][13] Nitrogen was utterly destroyed by Nemhran at the Bridge of Judgement of Avernus.[14][15]
QBZ-191 was one of the few Dolls that Helian requested to stay at Griffin during the PMC's downsizing. She abandoned her relaxed way of life to properly shoulder the future of the company.[2][16] A particularly difficult mission which Qiongjiu's previous team managed to accomplish with complete improvisation convinced her to always draw up extra strategies before every mission.[17]
During Griffin & Kryuger's restructuring, QBZ-191 decides to apply to stay at the PMC despite not being a long-time member since she's been entrusted with many important missions. She didn't expect to spend most of her time idle since Griffin stopped receiving as many commissions, despite Kalina's best recommendation efforts in her new position at the Non-Military Forces Administration. Paired with AA-12, QBZ-191 starts involving herself in the choice of prospective commissions. 191's broad and careful intel analysis leads her to discover details enabling Griffin to gain the trust of the clients. Helian notices that 191 develops a form of OCD from this work and starts to draw up plans precise to the second.
A year later, Griffin has built up more work opportunities, and Helian asks the Griffin Dolls to form new teams. She also requires the Dolls to find new names for themselves as part of Griffin's rebranding. Marking the end of her days as a lone wolf and the start of her career as a team leader, QBZ-191 takes the name Qiongjiu and names her Squad Frostfall.
Frostfall Squad is conducting an attack on a convoy to retrieve stolen goods. Though the mission goes smoothly, Qiongjiu marks it as less than perfect because the team completed it not on schedule, but ahead of it, and she insists on planning any operation down to the second. Helian recalls the squad to HQ to take an emergency commission from Lars Prinsler, a rising businessman in the White Zones. The mission is to act as bodyguards for his daughter Hedy Prinsler during her vacation at the family estate in the satellite city ZHY-06, since the family has been under constant aggression since their business started booming two years prior. With this contract, Lars intends to put G&K's reputation to the test.
On location, it is revealed that Hedy isn't actually the Prinslers' daughter, but in fact their pet flying squirrel. Frostfall Squad ends up spending their first few days trying to prevent Hedy from escaping the mansion, while Qiongjiu keeps trying to reason with it and make it stick to a schedule. Hedy's handler, Cecily, explains that the Prinslers sent their pet away for a “vacation” due to the stress of living in White Zones terrariums, where none of the features of a flying squirrel's natural habitat are found. Qiongjiu decides to take the risk of letting Hedy outside, and the squirrel's health quickly shows notable improvements. Some time later, signs of an intruder appear, Cecily is found unconscious and four fully-crewed UAZ-469 LUVs approach the mansion. While Qionjiu deploys her team to search and intercept, the obsessively detailed notes she's been gathering tells her that this is in fact part of Lars Prinsler's test and that the intruder is in fact Cecily herself faking to be unconscious, while the approaching vehicles are the Prinslers' personal security team in disguise. When the contract ends, the Prinslers enters a long-term partnership with Griffin.
When Qiongjiu tells the Commander about the mission at a later point, she adds that she has since deepened her knowledge of animals and volunteered in animal care organizations to be able to make appropriate schedules for them, and offers to take a contract to protect animals being transferred between two White Zone zoos. She also admits that apart from animals, the only unpredictable person she'll tolerate is the Commander, since she has complete trust in them.
Elmo's Wishing Well
- Qiongjiu's Assistance
Commander, you need to manage your mailbox.
Commander, today while assisting Mayling in organizing data in the Elmo's system, I discovered quite a few unread B.R.I.E.F. emails. I suspect that due to your busy schedule, you haven't had the chance to deal with these work-related emails, and they've been overlooked as time passed. Please don't worry. I've categorized these emails and handled them one by one, considering their timeliness and urgency. I've submitted a to-do list of things you need to attend to.
I've asked Mayling to label these emails, and although I've already processed them for you, I believe you should still read them personally
and make corresponding work plans.
Since every T-Doll is entitled to make a wish, shall we consider this as my wish? Please complete these tasks on time.
I will send you reminders as appropriate, so please understand.
Dear Commander:
Greetings, Commander. I'm genuinely pleased to see that you've completed the work plan promptly. I've also taken care of all the other unread emails. So, that concludes the work-related matters.
Using the wishing well to complete work tasks... I admit it's a bit unromantic of me. But it was somewhat unavoidable, given how busy your usual schedule is.
However, if I should take advantage of this opportunity, perhaps you could choose a less urgent task for us to complete together?
This is actually my true wish. Surely, this time, you'll be able to keep our appointment? I'll send you the specific plans later, and you can act as you wish. Of course, I also welcome surprises.
Wishing you well.

Qiongjiu's Repair Training
I hope you enjoy the gift - Part I
Forgive me, Commander, but I have an imposition to make. After going through my collection recently, I've noticed that several of my jade pieces are showing varying degrees of damage... Therefore, I was wondering if we should conduct a repair workshop?
Of course, this isn't simply because of my personal interest in jade items. Rather, I've noticed everyone getting a little restless, so perhaps they could use this intricate work to put down their burdens and find a measure of inner peace.
If you think this idea has merit, I've already organized and sent a detailed list of the required materials and equipment to your inbox. Please have a look.
I hope you enjoy the gift - Part II
To: Commander
Thank you very much for approving my request, Commander. The event went as well as it did thanks to your support.
The results went far beyond what I expected. Seeing the others experiencing a tangible sense of accomplishment while repairing the jade items moved me to the bottom of my heart.
Objects have no inherent value, but compared to mere restoration...
Perhaps the true significance of what we did today was "repairing" everyone's souls.
In order to commemorate the event, I've placed one of the best-restored jade items on your desk. I hope you like it.

Mail - Exilium 1 Year Anniversary
Qiongjiu's Anniversary Message
Extending my sincerest felicitations, Commander.
This letter was penned two days in advance; I even used gold-flecked paper for the occasion. Unfortunately, the matching jade-patterned stickers only arrived today, so it may look a little hastily prepared-please don't mind.
All your prior arrangements have been seen to. Now that I said it, perhaps it's a little sly to bring that up, but I simply wish for you to understand that I've taken every word you've spoken to heart.
From now on, I'll keep standing by your side, offering my sharpest judgment.
If you have a moment to spare, would you mind taking a look at the new jade pendant I carved? I think it stands to reason that it complements your uniform rather well-provided that it's to your liking, of course.
Just like the jade I hold, may our conviction remain unbreakable, and our mutual trust as steadfast in all the days to come!
Qiongjiu
