Weapon Background
The Stribog SP9 is a personal defense weapon made by Grand Power, a relatively new firearms manufacturer based out of Banská Bystrica in Slovakia.
The Stribog series has several features and placements of controls that are familiar to users of AR-15-style rifles and can mount numerous accessories. In 2019, Grand Power submitted the Stribog AP9 A3S, a fully-automatic version with a 5.5" barrel and a collapsible stock, as a possible new submachine gun for the United States Army in response to a competition for a new design (US Army's Sub Compact Weapon (SCW) program). The AP9 A3S would end up losing to the Brügger & Thomet APC9.
Character Background
As a former civilian bodyguard Doll, SP9 is highly capable, possessing wide knowledge and cool judgement while also being very confident in her abilities. Due to old work habits, she is actually less capable than one would expect after changing jobs. She is a strong-willed pacifist who believes that Dolls are meant to protect humans and not destroy things.
