I was discharged from the hospital today, but the one who should have welcomed me back isn’t there…

It was Miss Helian, instead. She said you had a vital mission to complete, and you can come back to rebuild the base once you’re done.

We went to assess the base, or rather the ruins of the base. We have a lot of work ahead of us, so hurry back, I have a lot of ideas!

On the way back, Miss Helian asked me if I believe in parallel worlds and multiple timelines. Maybe there’s one where I’m your boss instead?

I don’t believe in that. The only real world is the one we live in and other worlds are an illusion, a daydream fantasy.

I did imagine another world though, one where there’d be no Relic technology, no war, no ELID and no Dolls…

Only normal people living busy lives, where tomorrow is the same as yesterday.

You’d be like that too, Commander, following the same road and walking the same fixed path, and I… Hmm…

I guess it would be like when we first met, I would run up to you, and say “Morning, Commander!”, and then… What would normal people do, actually?

Snatch your wallet right away? Ask politely before doing it? Hehe, I’m just joking! I (probably) wouldn’t be stealing your wallet in every timeline!

But that can never happen, right? You said it yourself, we’ll always be side-by-side, and you’re someone who does good on promises.

But if you end up in a world where we can’t be together…

Then make sure you live a good life, make plenty of money and save up.

So that once your wallet is ready to burst, I’ll appear at a crossroad, walk up to you, say “Good morning, Commander!”, and you’ll give me all your money!

It'll be your punishment for suddenly disappearing!
