The player, as [[the Professor]], must lead a group of Dolls called the Exiled in a digital world called [[Magrasea]] and save them from deletion by the [[Sanctifier]]s. Each Doll has their own abilities, upgrade them and build their base. Certain Dolls in Neural Cloud share their identity with characters from Girls' Frontline.

*'''Basic Search''': Permanent banner using {{Icon|Basic Search Command}} Basic Search Commands. Mainly drops items but can also drop non-limited 1-star and 2-stars units, as well as 3-stars units unlocked at the [[Oasis_Menu#Search_Terminal|Search Terminal]].

**'''Elite Search''' is a limited-time banner with the same rules as Advanced Search, but with the 3-stars pool limited to only 4 units to increase their individual drop rates.

*'''Targeted Search''': The rules are identical to an Advanced Search, except that the pool of 3-stars unit is reduced to 8 selected units, with one of them (usually a limited unit) being in rate-up. The general drop rate for 3-stars units is unchanged, but the individual drop rate of the rate-up unit is boosted to 1%. The Signal Redemption pity system is also available: each pull grants 1 Discrete Signal, and the rate-up unit can be redeemed by collecting 180 Discrete Signal, repeatable. The first Signal Redemption will also grant 30 Neural Fragments of the limited Doll. Discrete Signals are not shared between banners. Unused Discrete Signals are converted to {{Icon|Discrete Point}} Discrete Points when the banner ends.
