Badbsca (芭斯凯) was one of the three [[Nyto]] subjects for [[Paradeus]]' Project Cocoon in Frankfurt, along with [[Machlian]] and {{enemy name|Morridow (Enemy)|boss|alt=Morridow}}. The goal of the project was to create the perfect vessel (body) for the resurrection of [[Lunasia]] by constantly cloning the subjects in an attempt to genetically engineer a [[fully-immune individual]]. Unlike her sisters, Badbsca was always confined to her cocoon, but was a spectator to all the events that transpired in Paradeus, even those supposed to be hidden from her. Like her two sisters, her name is a portmanteau including the name of one of the Morrigna, three Irish war goddesses. Her name combines “Badb” and the first letters of “scarecrow”.<ref name=Light1>{{cite|gfl|angular|Light as a Feather I}}</ref> Nytos born from Project Cocoon possessed desires: Machlian wanted to become human again, while Morridow wanted freedom, but Badbsca was unaware of her own desires.<ref name=Light4 />

Lieutenant Dragović was a member of the guards of Belgrade. He led a final stand of sorts in the [[Isomer]] event. He presumably died defending Belgrade with his men.

The personal assistant to [[Rudolf von Oberstein]] in the Socialist Unity Party in November 2064. He was privy to von Oberstein's dealings with [[Paradeus]] and acted as an intermediary for communications between him and [[Nemhran]].<ref name="IF3" /><ref name="IF18" /> Not to be confused with [[#Friedrich Groß|Friedrich Groß]].

Before [[Convolutional Kernel]], Groß' position at the Socialist Unity Party (SED) was unclear: the [[Bee Sting]] system called him the Chairman of the SED (党主席),<ref name="BS-SED">{{cite|gfl|[[Bee Sting#Socialist Unity Party|Bee Sting; Socialist Unity Party]]}}</ref> but in two episodes of [[Isolation Forest]], [[Rudolf von Oberstein]] was also called “SED Chairman” (SED主席) and “Chairman of the Socialist Unity Party” (统一社会党党主席)<ref name="IF3">{{cite|gfl|isolation|3}}</ref><ref name="IF18">{{cite|gfl|isolation|18}}</ref> (the English translation for a different episode in the same event says that von Oberstein is the Vice-Chairman of the party, but this was a mistranslation of his role as Vice-President of the State Council).<ref name="IF6" /> In Convolutional Kernel, their roles were changed: Groß became General Secretary of the Socialist Unity Party (统一社会党总书记)<ref name=Kernel5 /> and von Oberstein became Deputy Secretary of the Socialist Unity Party (统一社会党副书记).<ref>{{cite|gfl|kernel|8}}</ref>

General Heinrich Schweinsteiger (海因里希•施魏因施泰格) was First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of Staff of the Nationale Volksarmee, and Secretary of the National Defense Council in [[Germany]],<ref>{{cite|gfl|ck|8}}</ref> and main proponent of the [[Stasi]], introduced in [[Poincare Recurrence]]. Under the guise of collaboration, he wrestled for control of the country against [[Griffin Lyons]] and [[Rudolf von Oberstein]].

Bowen Candela is a scientist researching artificial snow. His wife Renee Candela was an AI scientist before the advent of [[Dolls]], who created the learning robot [[Lumi]], but died of illness.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|[[Silvered Whispers]], Dance From The Heart 06}}</ref> After some old memories overflowed its cache due to lack of maintenance, Lumi attempted to convey Renee's last wish to dance with Bowen under falling snow, causing many incidents until [[Yoohee]] understood its inteention while hacking into its program and taught it to dance.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|[[Silvered Whispers]], Dance From The Heart 07}}</ref> As thanks, Bowen helped Yoohee to use artificial snow during her show in PRY-01.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|[[Silvered Whispers]], Dance From The Heart 08}}</ref>

Darren Claude (达伦·克劳迪) is the real name of the client of [[B.R.I.E.F.]] TASK-3115, the bounty for transporting [[Helena]]'s box to Odesa. Born from the noble Claude family, Darren was a haughty man who treats [[Dolls]] as inferior beings. He was in cahoots with the [[Girard Group]] for TASK-3115<ref name=SL51>{{cite|gfl2|SL-5-1}}</ref> and claimed to be a personal friend of Easley, the president of B.R.I.E.F.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|SL-3-5}}</ref> However, he was little more than a disposable proxy for the Girard Group, not even told what was being transported. He ordered [[Sextans]] to grant him temporary administrative authority over Satellite City ODE-01 and lock down the city to prevent [[the Commander]]'s forces from escaping with Helena.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|SL-4-4}}</ref> However, the operation failed while causing significant damage to the city, and Darren tried to shift the blame onto Sextans. Sextans killed him in response, making him the scapegoat for the failure,<ref name=SL51 /> though [[Rurik Girard]] still blamed her for her rash action against Darren.<ref name=LS13>{{cite|gfl2|leva|LS-1-3}}</ref>

Karl survived the sinking of the Novalis thanks to a certain individual who became his mentor<ref name=BastiA-1-4 /> and rejoined the [[Orlog Conglomerate]] under [[Cecht FABN]] instead of the Girard Group. While he earned the nickname "The Enterpreneur Who Clawed His Way Out Of Hell", no company was willing to work too closely with him,<ref name=BastiA-1-2 /> instead seeing him as a stray dog taken in by [[Zimmerman]] out of pity.<ref name=BastiA-1-4>{{cite|gfl2|basti|BA-1-4}}</ref> Zimmerman sent him to Port Mica to sabotage [[#Lydia Sable|Lydia Sable]]'s Connexion Corporation and bring them into the fold of the [[Orlog Conglomerate]].<ref name=BastiA-1-2>{{cite|gfl2|basti|BA-1-2}}</ref><ref name=BastiA-1-4 /> Karl's plan was to set up a fake rebellion in Port Mica to justify taking over the city and Connexion Corporation, but was foiled by {{GFL2|Dushevnaya}}, [[Phaetusa]], [[Sweeper]], [[Basti]], [[Faelynn]], Lydia and [[#Zoe Sable|Zoe]]. Also translated "Leibnitz". The assistant of [[Persica]] in 2074. She's a small but fierce and authoritative researcher who's tough on everyone around her, except on her idol Persica. '''Pavel''' is a member of a Private Military Company based in Odesa in 2074. He's a nervous and awkward man, but with a wealth of combat experience and the courage to protect his family. Unlike most humans, he doesn't appear to be prejudiced against Dolls, being much more critical of the level of control exerted by big corporations like the [[Girard Group]]. He's also a religious man.<ref name=Peach />

He participated in quelling the first [[Girard Group]] droid rampage of April 2074 in Odesa, as the Captain of External Support Squad 7 of his PMC. He collaborated with the [[NOMFA]] T-Doll squad led by [[Leva]], and was unusually reverent towards them, considering the Dolls his de facto employers since they worked for NOMFA, the agency overseeing PMCs. Pavel discovered that his daughter was on board of an out-of-control automated bus, and attacked [[#Fedya|Major Fedya]] when he ordered to forego the use of roadblocks and to blow up its tires instead, making it more dangerous for the passengers. [[Robella]] petitioned Fedya to try Pavel's plan, and they successfully put the bus under control and saved the passengers.<ref name=BA12 />

During NOMFA's investigation of the sudden [[ELID]] outbreak in Odesa, Robella contacted Pavel again since he was among the lighter infection cases. Pavel initially claimed that he had simply received his vaccine late before a mission in the Yellow Zone and hid the delay to avoid a fine,<ref>{{cite|gfl2|[[Deep Oblivion]] BA-1-6}}</ref> but after being promised NOMFA's protection in exchange for testifying, he revealed that illegal vaccines were widespread among small PMCs and Green Zone population due to official vaccines being hogged by wealthy travelers. Robella also pressed Pavel about his reasons for not making use of his veteran benefits, and he admitted that he actually deserted. After [[Kalina]] sympathized with his situation, he willingly gave a dose of illegal vaccine to NOMFA for analysis,<ref name=BS13>{{cite|gfl2|[[Deep Oblivion]] BS-1-3}}</ref> which revealed that his late vaccination actually saved him since the defective batch was only effective for a short term.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|[[Deep Oblivion]] BA-1-11}}</ref> Pavel's squad later participated in [[Operation Xyster]] against the second Girard droids uprising, where he counseled Major Fedya's security troops using his experience with guerilla warfare against large mechs.<ref name=BS16>{{cite|gfl2|[[Deep Oblivion]] BS-1-6}}</ref>

Zoe Sable is the daughter of [[#Della Sable|Della Sable]] and niece of [[#Lydia Sable|Lydia Sable]]. Zoe inherited the altruistic ideals of her mother and rejection of Lydia's mercantilism.<ref name=Basti-1-1 /> At a young age, she formed the Black Utopia Gang with other orphans, learning to pickpocket, run cons and hack computers under the guidance of [[Basti]],<ref name=BastiS-1-2 /> and started causing problems for her aunt by disturbing the public safety of Port Mica<ref name=Basti-1-1 /> and even hacking banks.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|basti|BA-1-3}}</ref>

 

After the Silence of Port Mica incident, Lydia begrudgingly gave some credit to Della and Zoe's ideals and allowed the BUGs to retain control over one of her aerial beacons, allowing the hackers to establish an intelligence network in the Yellow Zone. Since Basti had ingrained respect and awe for [[the Commander]] in the BUG's members for years, they offered to join the [[Elmo]], but the Commander refused to allow children to endanger themselves by joining their faction. Instead, Zoe disbanded the Black Utopia Gang and immediately formed the BUGs' Information Network Atelier, an intelligence startup ready to make business for cheap with the Elmo.<ref name=BastiS15>{{cite|gfl2|basti|BS-1-5}}</ref>

Skarte (思格特) is an [[ELID]] hunter active in the Odesa region. They briefly communicated with the [[Elmo]] in April 2074, sharing tips about the dangers in their area. The Commander learned about the [[Nemertea]] attack on [[Warrant Officer Vladimir]]'s Purification Zone from her, and in return the Commander gave her the location of a good hunting ground.<ref>{{cite|gfl2|6-3}}</ref>
