*Her dialogues are inspired by Marvin the depressed robot from ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'', while her relationship with the bubbly PP-90 is inspired by the relationship between Neku and Shiki in ''The World Ends with You''.

*Because her actual name was bothersome to type repetitively with a Chinese keyboard (her name wasn't written in hanzi at the time), and it felt too formal for PP-90 to use, Jano instead introduced the nickname "VV". It was however found during testing that the two letters looked like a single "W" because of the font used in the story reader, so Jano switched to “Vivi”, which became Vector's official nickname in every future story.<ref>[[Community Resources/Dinagaty Interviews#Interview #13: Jano (Vector)]]</ref>
