The EG 4.0 unit known as "Sol" was originally developed by 42Lab as a combat-type technical Doll intended to protect scientific expeditions in dangerous and extreme environments. As an internal-use Doll for 42Lab, Sol was part of the first batch of candidates selected for Project Neural Cloud. After entering Magrasea, she valiantly perished during battle against a clone of Eosphorus and suffered fatal damage to her core. However, an Entropic resembling Sol appeared in Tartarus some time later.

The Entropized Sol is markedly different from the original Sol in her abilities and neural cloud structure, as well as enjoying a significant increase in combat prowess. After much effort by the Oasis, the Entropized EG 4.0 now assists the Exiles in combat.

Doll Profile 1

During the battle with the Eosphorus clone, Sol held back the enemy by herself and ended the battle by taking her opponent down with her. By the time Persicaria led a team to the battlefield, the only thing they found on the scorched earth was Sol's necklace. Persicaria scoured the entire battlefield but found no trace of Sol's neural cloud core or its fragments, which utterly ruled out any possibility of resetting Sol.

However, some time later, the Professor and Persicaria encountered an Entropized Sol on their way to meet Malkira in the Inner Ring of the Tartarus Sector. Although this Entropized Sol was hostile to them and rejected her memories of the past, her habits and fighting style were very similar to the original Sol. Persicaria speculated that the Entropics had somehow managed to retrieve the fragments of Sol's neural cloud core, repaired them through Entropization, and integrated them into an Entropic core, which resulted in this newborn Sol being awakened in the Tartarus Sector. This line of reasoning was later confirmed by Malkira. After their journey to Tartarus was over, this Entropized Sol was named "Inferno Sol".

Since she was "resurrected" through the power of the Entropy, Inferno Sol's nature has shifted from a Doll's neural cloud to that of an Entropic; she is a High Order Entropic that holds Sol's appearance as well as her memories and skills.

Doll Profile 2

Inferno Sol's neural cloud is far more stable compared to other Entropized Agents. Though her neural cloud fragments have been Entropized, the change has not affected her intelligence or memories too greatly. Her logic patterns are very complete, and with the help of the Oasis' Medical Department, her past memories have become clearer. This might be because much of Sol's internal data is essentially Entropic in origin and the firewalls in Sol's neural cloud core were already disabled, which allowed both sides to harmonize and sync together in a balanced union, allowing for more stable long-term operation.

Although Inferno Sol's neural cloud originates from Sol's and she has inherited Sol's skills, memories, and even part of her feelings, Inferno Sol remains an Entropic who was awakened in and matured in Tartarus, thus she cannot fully parse them. Fortunately, the Professor and the other Agents in the Oasis were willing to reach a helping hand out to Inferno Sol, allowing her to recognize the world beyond Tartarus and understand interpersonal relationships with non-Entropic entities.

Doll Profile 3

Inferno Sol has differing opinions of the Oasis and the Tartarus Sector. She was born in Tartarus, counts all Entropics as her kin, and considers Tartarus to be her home. She feels the same sense of belonging to all Entropics the way Malkira does as well as Sol's own dedication to protecting her friends. The mutual influence of these two factors causes Inferno Sol to cherish each and every one of her Entropic comrades and makes her willing to fight to protect them.

Meanwhile, the Oasis is a place which she has never visited, yet is one which is present in many of her memories. Inferno Sol looks forward to it and fears it at the same time. She was once worried about losing herself and becoming someone else if she made contact with the Oasis, but at the same time she also wants to see the place which the "Sol" in her memories fought and died for.

And now that this unfamiliar "home" is within reach, her doubts have scattered like mist in the light of dawn.

Doll Profile 4

During the battle of Tartarus, Sol returned to the Oasis, as though by some miracle. Faced with Inferno Sol's doubts and misery, Sol chose to respond in a kind yet uniquely Sol-like way, giving Inferno Sol a new name– Sunna. Supposedly, it is another name for the Nordic sun goddess that is Sol's namesake. In turn, Inferno Sol shared her own operands with Sol.

Ever since, there have been two Sols in the Oasis, as close and inseparable as sisters. The Dolls in the Oasis often see the twin Sols exploring, fighting, eating, sleeping, and even venturing into haunted houses together.

Doll Profile 5

When she first joined the Oasis, Inferno Sol tried keeping her distance from the Professor and the other Dolls, as she was afraid that she would ruin the relationship between Sol and the rest of the Oasis, and that she would accidentally infect them with Entropy. However, the combination of the Medical Department repeatedly ensuring that she was harmless, the warm reception from the Oasis and Sol's own insistence led to Inferno Sol slowly blending in with the Oasis. During this time, Inferno Sol and the Professor forged a special relationship.

The Professor would take time off to accompany Inferno Sol around to see the sights, and she would wait as the Professor worked through their myriad duties to ask questions once the Professor was free. The two of them often went exploring outside the sector, and their differing perspectives often gave each other new ideas and angles of attack on various situations.
