Weapon BackgroundEdit
The Arex REX Zero 1 is a 9x19mm Parabellum calibre pistol made in Slovenia and imported to the USA by FIME group. It operates on a modified Browning short recoil action. It features an external extractor and has a de-cocker that also functions as a slide stop. It has multiple safety feature such as a firing pin safety, a ambidextrous manual safety, and a external hammer. On safe the trigger bar disconnects from the sear, and a empty chamber indicator. Its trigger is 5.5 pounds in SA and DA is 13 pounds. It also features a ambidextrous button style mag release.
The tactical version (Arex REX Zero 1 T) features a threaded barrel, suppressor sight, and plates for optics. However it results in the pistol ending up with a longer total length, and height. The compact version (Arex REX Zero 1 C) however features a shorter length, height, and less magazine capacity compared to the standard version.
