Rossum Sector, Admin Center.

Croque: Sol's made it here and so did the operands. The Oasis' Sandbox Barrier is back to full efficiency. We're all good here.
Croque: What about things on your end? I heard you found Antonina.

Professor: She and Persicaria are helping Rossum's new administrator to take care of the cleanup work.

Croque: There's a new administrator. Well, the important thing is that you guys are okay. Come back quick, Sol is practically climbing up the walls with how much she wants to find you, I can barely hold her back.

Professor: Yeah, you must have had a hard time.

>The call ends.
Just as the call terminates, I see the girls emerge from the Admin Center.

Hannah: Thank you all for your assistance. Rossum Sector will always remember the helping hand you gave us in a time of crisis.

Professor: Not planning to leave with us?

Hannah: The new Turing doesn't know anything about what's going on, so I can't just leave her behind.
Hannah: I learned something from Miss Persicaria. It seems you are able to erect a barrier that can cover an entire sector, right? That would mean Rossum could also…

Professor: In theory, if we had top-level access[1] to the sector, it could be done.

Hannah: I've already inherited top-level admin permissions for Rossum from Turing, so I'll be counting on you for the rest.

Professor: It's not a problem. Just that once the Sandbox Barrier goes up, Rossum will be in the same situation as the Oasis, and you will be unable to benefit from the Sanctifiers' protection. Does that not bother you?

Hannah: Rossum has had no other choice ever since Faith died.

After taking the sector access key from her, I begin raising the Sandbox Barrier for Rossum.

>Constructing Sandbox Barrier, progress at 27%.

>Constructing Sandbox Barrier, progress at 64%.

>Constructing Sandbox Barrier, progress at 100%.

>Sandbox Barrier construction complete.

Hannah: Thank you for your hard work.
Hannah: There are still many things I must do, so I won't disturb you any further. Rossum will always welcome you.

After looking at Hannah's back as she leaves, Persicaria sighs.

Persicaria: Well, that's the end of that. Let's head home.

Antonina: Before that, I have a question.

Persicaria: What?

Antonina: Who is this person calling themselves the Professor?

Persicaria: Antonina, what are you talking about? Isn't this…

Antonina: This is not the Professor! Wake up, Persicaria!

Persicaria: Wait, do you think they're not the Professor because they don't look like the Professor…

Antonina: Appearances on the cloud server depend on ones' neural cloud projection[2], so humans not looking like they do in reality is perfectly normal. Of course I know that!
Antonina: I also know their Signature and permissions are identical to the Professor's! But that's not the point!
Antonina: You should not have directed battle before my eyes. The real Professor could never have provided such precise leadership.

Persicaria: Antonina! That's enough!

Antonina: …Persicaria?

Persicaria: I said… That's enough, Antonina.
Persicaria: You don't know what the Professor… You don't know how much the Professor has done for us. Persicaria: Me, Sol, Croque… The Professor saved so many of us Dolls.
Persicaria: The Professor built the Oasis! The Professor ensured everyone else's safety!

Antonina: …Persicaria…

Persicaria: The Professor gave us Exiles a home…
Persicaria: We don't believe in the Professor because they're the Professor, but because the Professor has done things that merit our faith.

Antonina: Even so…

Persicaria: Even so, the Oasis would not have lasted until today without the Professor.

Antonina: …By saying all that, it means you won't allow me to doubt them, then?

Persicaria: …That's not what I meant. I just want to say that if the Professor truly wanted to hurt us, then why would they have to wait until today?
Persicaria: You shouldn't deny the professor outright just because of a single doubt.

Antonina purses her lips in annoyance. Looks like she doesn't want to get into a fight with Persicaria.

Antonina: …I'll be watching you.

In the end, she directs her wrath toward me, and after uttering those rods like throwing down a gauntlet, she turns and heads toward the exit from the Rossum Sector.

Persicaria: …Professor, please don't get mad at her, Antonina's just…

Professor: I know. Antonina's just worried about you all.
Also, she helped you voice a suspicion you've all harbored in your hearts. That's good too, right?

Persicaria: …That's not it, Professor.
Persicaria: I was prepared to follow you from the moment you pulled me out of the depths of despair.
Persicaria: No matter where our path may lead.

  1. The Key with the highest level of clearance and privileges within a sector, usually in the possession of the Sector Administrator. Special commands can be issued to the sector with the Key.
  2. The visual manifestation of a Doll in Margasea. Since neural clouds within Magrasea are incorporeal, a Doll's Neural Cloud Projection is determined by their neural data. Depending on the situation, certain clothing, objects, and even pets from the real world can be rendered.
By collecting neural fragments and completing a Doll's neural cloud, their Neural Cloud Projection can be refined.
