Weapon Background

The Negev is an Israeli 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm light machine gun, developed by Israel Military Industries. Design work on this new indigenous firearm began in 1985, it was inspired by the Belgian FN Minimi, and it was officially adopted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in 1997.

Character Design

The Star of David features prominently on her clothes. In The Art of Girls' Frontline Vol.1, her artist shares details about her design:

• He wanted to design a frail girl, and after some back and forth ended up with a shy girl acting like a yandere to hide her true nature.
• She has light-colored hair, but dyes it pink.
• Her clothes reuse the colors of Israel's flag, the white highlighting the “blood” on it (it's just sauce).
• Her gun is pretty big for her since she's rather short, but her bosom is well-endowed. She's shy about it and hides it with her weapon.
• Her ammo belt was originally twice as long.

In the anime, her clothes are closer to her "Little Vagrant" costume than her default clothes.
