Weapon Background

PP-9 "KLIN" (ПП-9 "Клин") is a variant of PP-91 KEDR that is modified to fire a more powerful cartridge. Design of the KEDR dates back to 1970s from Yevgeny Dragunov, the same man who designed the SVD sniper rifle, the PP-91 variant KLIN was produced from 1996 to 2002 but it's exact development dates are unknown.

KLIN SMG fires from a close bolt, it's operating mechanism changed from straight blowback to delayed blowback after branching off the KEDR, featuring improved ballistics to handle the higher armor piercing performance 9x18mm PMM cartridge, the weight of the gate have been increased and helical grooves are now present in the chamber. Feeding on the 20-/30-round box magazine, KLIN is able to achieve up to 1060 rounds per minute of rate of fire, KLIN achieved a 430 m/s muzzle velocity, ~30% higher than KEDR.

Other feature of KLIN include the left side charging handle, right side ejection port and top folding shoulder stock. A fire selector lever allows KLIN to be fire as semi-automatic, other accessories such as laser sight and suppressors are also available for KLIN.

The manufacturing process for KLIN is said to be simple, constructed from stamped sheet steel. With the compactness and low mass, KLIN is currently in service to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), likely to be used as a close quarter SMG or a PDW.

Design

Angry looking T-doll KLIN, she have many rabbit features on her attire design. KLIN is also one of the dual-wielder of SMGs, like Shipka, Uzi and Skorpion.

The artist would also claim that KLIN's Sanbagarasu costume have ΛBIBOS written at the bottom, that is suppose to be a reference of a rip-off brand of ADIDAS, commonly found amongst Gopnik culture.

Personality

Official character setting mentions: KLIN is a self proclaimed Number 1 servicing T-doll of G&K, her combat style is WILD, half of the time she doesn't know what she actually hit. But secretly she is a crybaby who can be easily hurt emotionally, her biggest fear is being alone.

Story Involvement

KLIN's only story involvement is during Operation Deep Dive, conveniently it also explained her arrival in G&K.

Deep Dive

Before taking up their latest contract, Task force 404 received training on their electronic attack software that is aimed to infiltrate a network electronically via Android's Cloud Atlas. Conveniently for 404, their practice target showed up right at their doorstep when they needed one. KLIN logged in on a wrong terminal while verifying her identity in the G&K base, she entered a protected region, her Cloud Atlas is immediately placed in lock-down. 404 encountered this situation and decided to rescue KLIN as their practice with the software, completely oblivious to the danger KLIN gotten herself into, she complained along the way with loud voice, mostly regarding how G&K have terrible treatments for first timers and the terrible login service.

Upon completely fusing her Cloud Atlas back together, she is awoken up again in G&K HQ, having forgotten all about what happened in Atlas space, she immediately got back to yelling at anything she lays her eyes on. She mistake Kalina as a T-doll upon laying her eyes on her, she started yelling even louder when Kalina addressed her as a "kid". Kalina would comment she is quite an aspiring T-doll though.
