This section will cover the instructions for obtaining the game client and registering an account in order to play the game.

Choosing a publisher

Currently, there are multiple servers of the game that can be categorized into three groups:

• DigitalSky Servers - the current main collaborating publisher.
• Bilibili Servers - another publisher who received the right to host its own servers.
• Sunborn Server - English/Japanese version of this game. Servers are split between languages. Note that Japanese version's name is Dolls' Frontline.

The registration method, payment method for premium currency, and events may be different depending on the server you choose:

Remember that there can be exceptions and everything here is subject to change. Once you've decided the server you want to play in, follow the correct instructions below to get into the game.

Instructions

Downloading the Client

To obtain the client apk, visit the game site then tap Download Now(立即下载). Install APK file and launch the client after the download is complete.

When prompted, press confirm to start downloading data. When completed, confirm again when prompted about downloading extra data for character voice if interested (which can also be downloaded anytime in options menu should one chose not to). Either way, tap the screen when download reaches 100% to proceed.

Selecting a server

After reaching the main menu, it's highly recommended to select a non-full server. Tap Change Server(更变服务器) to reach the server selection menu.

On the left side of the screen is the server selection menu. The colored text left of the server name indicates its current status: Recommended Full Busy Under Maintenance Since it is not possible to register on a full server, it's highly recommended to tap on a recommended or busy server.

After selecting a server, tap Enter Game(进入游戏) to proceed to account registration.

Registering an account

The game can be played with a guest account or a regular account. However, it is highly recommended to properly create an account. Guest accounts will be forced to be verified with a real-life ID (see Verifying your Account below for a generator) after several days and will have to go through an untranslated process in order to link an e-mail for backing-up game progress. To register for an account, tap Logon using username and password(账号密码登陆).

The login window will appear. Tap Register(快速注册) to start the registration process.

The phone number registration window should appear. Tap Email registration(邮箱注册) to access email registration menu.

After entering the desired username and password,tap on Submit(提交) to complete registration. The game should automatically proceed to login process after this. The game will also give a reminder about verifying one's email, and it's advised to do so when given the time.

Entering the game

Enter the player name in the form and tap Confirm(确定). Tap confirm again when a prompt box appears. The game will return an error if the name is already taken or contains invalid characters. If that occurs, simply change to another name and try again. You may need to try different capitalizations or character lengths. Otherwise, the game will proceed directly to the prologue.

Step 1

When prompted, press confirm to start downloading data. Either way, tap the screen when download reaches 100% to proceed.

Selecting a server

After reaching the main menu, it's highly recommended that you select a non-full server. Tap Change Server(更变服务器) to reach the server selection menu.

Registering an account

You are now at the login screen. If you are not in possession of a phone number supported by bilibili, it is imperative that you register by email instead should you want to prevent yourself from getting locked out of your account permanently if you forget your password. For email registration, check see the following section for more information. Otherwise, tap Register(注册) to start registering your account.

You will be directed to the phone number registration page: To register by phone: Tap Mainland China(中国大陆) and change your region if your phone number is not from mainland China. Enter your phone number and tap Receive Verification Code(获取验证码). You should receive an verification code. Input your verification code and tap confirm to complete your registration. To register without using a phone number or email, tap Other registration methods(其他注册方式) to access the alternate registration menu.

If you chose alternate registration, you should now reach the alternate registration menu. Enter your username (Do not use an email address) then password, then tap on Register Now(立即注册) to complete your registration.

Registering a Bilibili account by email with a computer

To use email registration, register from here. Enter your email address and captcha. Click to accept User Agreement, then tap “Send Verification Mail”

Check email for verification links to proceed.

Enter user name and password (6-16 character, case sensitive). Note this will not be your in-game display username.

Your registration is now complete. You can now log on to a Bilibili server via email.

Proceed to log in with your Bilili email and password (not username) by tapping Log on (登陆).

Entering the game

You can now enter your selected server by clicking the yellow button back at the server selection screen.

Enter your player name in the form and tap Confirm(确定). Tap confirm again when a prompt box appears. If you get an error, then the name is already taken or it contains invalid characters. If such occurs, simply change your player name and try again. You may need to try different capitalizations or character lengths. Otherwise, you will be sent straight to the game prologue.

Downloading the Client

Latest version can be downloaded at appropiate app store of your phone.

When prompted, press confirm to start downloading data. Note that additional voice data must be downloaded manually from Setting. Tap the screen when the download completed to proceed.

Registering an account

You are now at the login screen. You can tap any available choices above to quickly register. It is recommended to link your account with Sunborn ID as soon as you register. Or, you can tap Sunborn ID to login/register with it instead. Note that these servers shares same account but different game data, so you don't need to register on both server if you wish to play on different server.

You are now at the registration screen. Simply enter your email and password and tap Register.

Entering the game

You can now enter the game by tapping anywhere on the empty space.

If such occurs, simply change your player name and try again. You may need to try different capitalizations or character lengths. Otherwise, you will be sent straight to the game prologue.

Verifying your Account (The purge has been over)

The developer team had been updated their verification policy where the user must verify their citizenship ID in order to access their account in June. The user had given time to verify their account until 30th June 2017, otherwise the user unable to access their ID in beginning of 1st July. It is advised to verify your account before time runs out.

Step

Go to Settings Menu.

Proceed to 'Game' Tab and go to into verification button, right in the marked at bottom left.

You'll be directed into verification page. You have to fill the entry in order to finish the verification. IMPORTANT: For the player outside China, you can generate the Chinese Citizenship ID at MyFakeInfo Website. Find the desired ID and the name you want in order to fill the entry.

After finished to fill the entry, you'll be redirected into the page where you had successfully verifying your account.

• IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FOREIGN PLAYER: It is advised to save your 'fake' citizenship ID in your note. In unwanted moments where you will verify your account for a 2nd time(Let's hope this would not happen), if you forget to copy at your note/remember your citizenship ID, you will be unable to access your ID.
• Unless you are in the Taiwan or English server, there's no need to worry about this citizenship verification because it only applies to Mainland China.
• NOT ONLY DIGITALSKY, BUT BILIBILI ALSO APPLY THE SAME VERIFICATION.
