Brutes are quick fighters known for being fragile but powerful. Their speed is higher than those of [[Dragoon]] and [[Dinergate]], causing them to reach your units really fast. Their health may not be very much, but expect them to make every attack they do count. They fight using dual blades, making them one of the three melee units, the other two being the [[Aegis]] and the [[Tarantula]]. Brutes can be easily spotted by their blue hair.

{{enemy name|Brute}}'s are agile Humanoid SF units who are faster than {{enemy name|Dinergate}}'s. Brutes are seen beyond Chapter 8 and in certain events. Although fragile, Brutes are incredibly devastating to SG's, for they are the first enemy players will encounter that have a significantly high AP value. This high AP value makes using MGSG echelons to battle against them risky because Brutes can quickly deal substantial damage to SGs. Their DMG is moderate and their ACC is very low, which makes SMG's or HG's, who have high evasion, more ideal for tanking.

Alternatively, one can deal with brutes by using T-dolls that are capable of slowing them down such as T-dolls with Smoke Grenade, or by taking out multiple brutes at once with SMG's who have Molotov or Hand Grenade.
