Background info

A Universal Anything C2E2 Caregiver model for child companionship, caretaking and pre-school education. In order to handle the work of child companionship, Universal Anything Services installed special emotional systems into the C2E2. In addition to allowing her to provide tailor-made education for specific children, it also allowed her to effectively care for children's feelings. Due to her fairly high cost of production, the C2E2 remains targeted at upper-class families by Universal Everything. The C2E2's extensive knowledge banks and entertaining yet gentle simulated personality can engender a sense of closeness in children of varied characters. "Kitties turn into witches at midnight, stars put into bottles can't breathe and lose their light... What I want to protect are these indistinct yet precious fantasies."[1]
