Career
HT-Alpha, a hunting support Doll developed by Svarog Heavy Industries, was primarily meant for overlooking and managing hunting practices within natural reserves, and was first put into use in 2055.
As one of Svarog's Environmental Protection Program's Dolls, Sockdolager was mainly responsible for assisting people with hunting legally and safely in the forests of Eastern Europe, as well as observing animal and plant life within the forests and taking protective measures against the effects of war or Collapse Fluid pollution.
Due to a hunting accident, Sockdolager's work stopped after a reversal of public opinion, and was entered into Project Neural Cloud by Svarog Heavy Industries.
Doll Profile 1
The first impression Sockdolager leaves on people is not as ice-cold as the title of "professional hunter" would suggest. For the purpose of protecting the biosphere and endangered species, Sockdolager's neural systems are not only loaded with incredible amounts of hunting techniques, but also a rich depth of knowledge for the natural sciences. With this knowledge, Sockdolager can elegantly traverse within woodlands, accurately taking out designated prey without harming other life or damaging the local environment. For her, hunting is more the remembrance and inheritance of some rule of nature, not mere killing.
During her trial period, Sockdolager showed a great affinity for nature. With a body of steel, she found a quaint place for herself in the wealds - not even her designers could explain why when she entered those woods, she melded perfectly into that land of beasts, walking and flying.
Doll Profile 2
As opposed to an instrument-filled research facility, Sockdolager seems much more inclined to her self-constructed cabin in the woodlands. Without work at hand, she would often serve as a groundskeeper, patrolling the forests, meeting her best friend on the way - the falcon often found nestled on her shoulder, "Hobbie". Afterwards, she requested a specially designed Animal Signal Reception Device, allowing her to communicate and cooperate with Hobbie better. The chirps and songs amongst the woods spurred up an interest of music in Sockdolager. You could often find her strolling amongst the trees, self-crafted guitar in hand, humming along to her own tunes.
"If some undiscovered civilization really existed within the depths of those woods, then Sockdolager, music in her steps, would surely have been recorded by them as a goddess of the hunt, spoken of in books of legend."
- One of Sockdolager's designers
